Why I write

I write about engineering leadership, and about engineering an interesting life. The job of a manager is the output of the team over time — the best engineering leaders were always force multipliers, not information routers. I think the same intentionality applies to a life: happy and meaningful are great, but interesting is the one you have to chase down.
